½ cup butter
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 cup brown sugar
¼ cup molasses
2 ¼ cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp cloves
Sugar (turbinado sugar works great)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Combine butter, oil and brown sugar. Add molasses. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and gloves. Roll dough into balls and then roll balls in sugar. Place balls on greased baking sheet and bake 9-11 minutes.
