Combine:
4 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cream of tartar

Cream:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
2 sticks butter, softened
1 cup oil
2 teaspoons almond extract

Add dry ingredients.
Refrigerate dough, then form balls.
Freeze.
Bake on parchment at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
