2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c butter
2 eggs
1c sugar
1/2 c flour
1/2 c sliced almonds
Mint Cream
1 1/2 c sifted powder sugar
3 T soft butter
2 T Half & Half
3/4 t peppermint extract
Chocolate Glaze
2 oz chocolate chips
2 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cookie - Melt together 2 oz unsweetened chocolate and 1/2 c butter. In a separate bowl beat together until ivory in color - 2 eggs and 1 c sugar. Add to egg mixture 1/2 c flour, 1/2 c nuts. Blend in melted chocolate. Pour into greased & floured 9" square pan [Double recipe for 9x13" pan]. Bake at 350º for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean, let cool in pan.
Mint Cream - Beat together sifted powder sugar, soft butter, half & half, and peppermint flavoring till smooth. Spread over chocolate layer; cover and chill till firm.
Drizzle chocolate glaze over mint. Cut into bite-size pieces.
