2 lbs tangies
2 cups sugar
1½ cups cold water
Peels of two tangies
2 cups hot water
Salt
2 T lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and peel the tangies, remove seeds, set aside peels of 2 tangies.
Add fruit sugar and cold water to pan
Chop/slice peels an cover with hot water and salt, let sit for 10 minutes. Strain peels and add to pan.
Mix in lemon juice, simmer 2 hours or until it gets jammy.
Place a small amount on plate and run finger thru it. If it stays apart it’s ready. Place in jar and put in fridge.
