¾ C. Butter Softened
1 C. Sugar
1 Large Egg (room temperature)
¼ C. Molassas
2¼ C. All Purpose Flour
2 TSP Ground Ginger
1 TSP Baking Soda
¾ TSP Ground Cinnamon
½ TSP Ground Cloves
¼ TSP Salt
Additional sugar to roll in

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 5-7 min). Beat in egg and molassas. Combine the flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt into mixture and mix well.

Roll into 1½ in balls and then roll in sugar. Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 350º for 10-12 min, remove to wire racks to cool.
