2c. flour
1t. salt
1t. baking soda
1t. cinnamon
3/4c. vegetable oil
1 1/2c. sugar
3 large eggs
1 1/2t. vanilla
2 tart granny smith apples
1c. chopped pecans

Carmel Glaze:
1/2c. butter or margarine
1c. brown sugar
1/4c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 13 x 9 pan. Preheat oven to 350 f.

Mix flour, salt, baking soda & cinnamon. In large bowl w/elec. mixer at med. speed, Beat oil, granulated sugar, eggs & vanilla for 3 min. stir in flour mixture first until moistened fold in apples & nuts.

Spoon batter into pan- Bake 50-55 min. till toothpick is clean

Glaze:
In 1 qt. saucepan over med. heat bring butter, brown sugar & milk to boil stirring until sugar melts spoon glaze over warm cake.
