½ cup oil
2 cups white sugar
½ cup molasses
2 large eggs
4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
3½ - 4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Pre heat oven to 350º
Mix together sugar and oil.
Add molasses and eggs and mix well.
Add remaining ingredients and mix altogether.
Roll into balls and dip them in sugar.
Bake on greased cookie sheets ( or parchment paper) for 7 to 9 minutes.
Drop cookie sheet on counter after taking them from 5e oven.
Store in air right container. Freezes well.
