2¼ lbs. hamburger
1 cup onion, diced
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
1 cup water
1½ cups ketchup
1 tbsp. yellow mustard
⅛ cup white vinegar
¼ cup brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger with onion and seasonings in large frying pan. Drain. Put back in pan. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover and simmer on low for 1 hour.
Serve with your choice of buns.

*Optional: Instead of simmering for one hour, transfer to slow cooker and cook on low temperature for 3-4 hours.
