1# butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 c. pecans, finely chopped
dash of salt

additional powdered sugar to dip baked cookies in

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Add flour, pecans and salt. Chill dough. Roll dough on a floured surface to 1/2” thickness. Cut into strips 2 1/2” x 3/4”. Shape into crescents. Bake at 400º for 10 - 12 minutes. Dip in powdered sugar while cookies are hot.

These freeze well in layers separated with wax paper.
