"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Directions:
Preheat oven to 370 Bake 9 to 10 min. or until light brown around the edge.

Cream butter , powder sugar and vanilla together with mixer
Add flour and mix together with mixer
Lightly flour pastry board or counter before you start to roll out dough
Grab a little of dough at a time and put a piece of parchment paper on top of dough before you start to roll dough out so it won't stick to rolling pin.
I like my cookies on the thin side 1/4 inch thick or thinner. Once you have dough rolled out use cookie cutter of your choice a press thru dough. Always save the left over dough and grab a little more dough and do the same . Make sure you flour surface each time you roll out the dough so it won't stick to the board.
Dip spatula in flour before picking cookie up of board and putting it on cookie sheet.

After cookies cool you can start frosting them. Enjoy
