3 sticks of butter; softened
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 t. salt
Cinnamon, nuts, sugar sprinkles; to top cookies

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325ºF.
2. Cream butter and sugar with mixer
3. Add eggs; 1 at a time, and beat until soft
4. In a medium bowl, stir flour and salt together.
5. Add flour mixture to butter mixture in 3 parts; mixing in between adding the next batch of flour.
6. Drop by teaspoons on to parchment lined cookie sheets.
7. Bake for 2 min. and remove from oven to add cinnamon, nuts, and/or sugar sprinkles.
8. Return tray to oven and continue baking another 10 min. Cookies should be golden brown on edges.
9. Allow cookies to cool for 1-2 min. before removing from sheet.
