1 c. sugar
1 c. raw peanuts
½ c. Karo syrup
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Place wood spoon in 1 quart bowl. Mix sugar, peanuts and Karo syrup. Cover with Saran Wrap. Cook in the microwave on high for 8 minutes. Take out and add butter. Cook 2 minutes. Remove and add vanilla and soda. Stir till foamy. Then pour on greased cookie sheet to cool. You can substitute peanuts for pecans. Keep wooden spoon in mixture at all times. Microwave ovens vary so you might need to adjust times for your microwave.
