1 c. mashed potato
1 c. sweet milk
1 c. flour, plus additional flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 yeast cake with 2 Tbsp. water
1/2 c. melted shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl and let rise 1 hour. Add 1/2 cup melted shortening and enough additional flour (approx. 4-5 cups) to handle easily. Let raise 1 hour. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter, fold over each biscuit and let raise until double in size. Bake in a hot oven (400º) approximately 20 minutes.
