1½ c. creamy peanut butter
1 c. Crisco shortening
2½ c. light brown sugar
6 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
2½ c. flour
1½ tsp. baking soda
1½ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine peanut butter, Crisco, sugar, milk, and vanilla into mixer bowl. Beat until blended. Add egg and beat until blended.
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture and beat and beat until blended.
Drop 2-inch balls onto cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly and press fork in crisscross pattern. Bake at 375º for 6-7 minutes or until beginning to turn light brown.
