Filling Directions

Sautee onions in butter until transparent in Betty Crocker stock pot or similar heavy pot with lid.

Add water and bring to boil.

Add rice, cover, cook on medium/low 20 minutes.

Once water is cooked down and just covering rice, add raw hamburg and mix.

Turn to low, cover and simmer about 15 minutes covered until hamburg is cooked and most of water is absorbed.

Golumpki:

Cut core out of cabbage and add to boiling water. Leaves will start to loosen and using tongs remove loose leaves one at a time and place in calendar to cool enough to handle. DO NOT overcook cabbage and they will fall apart.

Once cool add rice and hamburger mixture to each leaf and
roll. Place in tight lidded heavy roaster with a layer of extra leave placed on top. Add tomato soup mixed with water.

Bake 325 degrees for 3 hours.
