½ c. sugar
½ c. shortening (do not melt)
1 c. warm water
4½ tsp. active dry yeast
4½ c. al purpose flour
1 c. warm water
2 tsp. salt.
3 eggs, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, combine water sugar and yeast. Let sit until yeast starts to bubble. Add shortening and eggs. Mix well. Stir in flour and salt. Mixture will be sticky and cannot be kneaded, so it will have to be stirred. Cover dough and place in fridge overnight. Divide dough into parts. Roll each part out thin and spread with melted butter. Roll dough as you would for cinnamon rolls. Cut into ½ inch slices and place on greased baking sheet. Brush tops with melted butter. Let rise for 3 hours. Preheat oven to 400º. Bake for 10 min.
