1 cup scalded milk
1/2 cup warm water
2 packages of yeast
1/2 cup melted shortening
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
4-5 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together. Less flour makes better bread (shouldn't be as stiff as regular bread)

Makes 2 round layer cake pans. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Bake at 375º for 35 minutes

NOTE: She used this dough to make cinnamon rolls too. Roll out dough; spread with butter, brown sugar and raisins. Shape as tea rings or slice into rolls.
