"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup sour cream

1 tsp vanilla
12 oz chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Add nuts, chocolate chips and peanut butter.

Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.

Note from Grandma Paulson: I added peanut butter before I put in the dry ingredients. And I didn't put chopped nuts in. I think I would like the creamy peanut butter better.
