6 c. fresh Brussels sprouts, washed, ends cut off and cut into quarters
6 slices bacon
1 granny smith apple, peeled, cored and cut into bite size pieces
Salt & Pepper to taste
Splash of red wine vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook bacon until crispy, set aside until cool, then crumble. Toss Brussels sprouts with bacon fat and spread on prepared baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven until Brussels Sprouts are crisp-tender and browned. Add apple and continue to roast for an additional 5 minutes or until apples are slightly brown and soft.

When done to your taste, remove from the oven and place in serving dish. Toss with bacon and a splash of red wine vinegar (to taste). Salt & Pepper to taste.

This is another dish we had at Joe & Jodi's for Thanksgiving in 2023. We used their air-fryer which made it such a simple dish! This recipe alone might sell me on buying an air fryer!

Would be good with a nice sprinkling of fresh grated parmesan cheese.
