1 T butter
1 small onion fine chop
4 oz bacon cut 1/4 in dice
1 med green cabbage 2.5 lbs halved, cored and cut into 1 in pieces
1 1/2 t caraway seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in enameled cast iron casserole. Add onion and cook mod heat til softened 2 min. Add bacon and cook until golden and fat is rendered 4 min. Add cabbage and caraway cover and cook over mod low heat, stir, until tender 30 min.
Season with salt and pepper
