3 c. Flour
1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
1 c. Shortening
1 tsp. Baking Soda

- mix above items together until crumbly.
Then add:
2 eggs
1 c. Sugar
5 T. Milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp. Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Chill dough at least 30 minutes before rolling out and cutting with cookie cutters.
Bake at 350 degrees.
Note - Grandma and I agreed, rolling them thin and baking them until lightly browned was our favorite way to make these.
Frost and decorate!
