2 cups butter
1 cup icing sugar
2 teaspoon (tsp) vanilla extract
½ cup corn starch
3 cups flour
maraschino cherries or baking gummies for center (optional) / 1 per cookie
Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter until soft.
Add in cream, icing sugar, and vanilla. mix until smooth and creamy.
Sift corn starch and flour slowly into the cream mix until dough begins to form.
Split into 2 round balls.
Refrigerate in plastic wrap overnight.
Roll out on floured surface and cut with cookie cutters for desired shapes.
Bake in oven at 350 º degrees for 8 / 10 minutes.
Cool and serve.
