Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Chicken tenderloins OR
3 to 4 Boneless skinless chicken breast
Vegetable oil or frying oil of choice
3 to 4 cups flour
Milk, cream or buttermilk
Season salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Lemon pepper seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
If using chicken breast, cut into strips or nuggets. Place in bowl with milk to soak.

In Tupperware type bowl with sealing lid, add flour and seasonings. You will have to play with this to get it right. Add lid to bowl and shake to mix flour and seasonings well. Check and if you can see the pepper and other seasoning speckling the flour, your seasoning is probably good to go. Be careful not to use too much salt!

In deep skillet or deep fryer heat oil to 350º or until a frop sizzles when flicked into oil. Add some of the strips into the flour, replace lid and shake well. Once oil is ready add some of the coated strips to the oil but don’t over crowd or you will get a clump of messy chicken. Cook until golden brown. Remove from oil and place on paper towel lined plate to absorb some of the oil while you fry the rest of your chicken.

This is a variation of Granny’s chicken and Mom’s chicken. To you this is Mom’s chicken but to me it is my Mom’s (Granny) chicken.
