1 C sugar
1/2 C shortening
1 C raisins
1 1/2 C water


2 C of flour
3/4 teasp. each of nutmeg, all spice and cinnamon
2 eggs
1/2 teasp. soda
pinch of salt
1 teasp, B powder
1/2 C nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Boil raisins in water for 5 minutes. Drain off 1/2 C water to use later. Let cool.
Mix all together. Bake 350
