1 cup shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
½ tsp salt
1½ tsp vanilla
1½ tsp lemon extract
1 cup sour milk
1 tsp soda
2 tsp baking powder
4 cups flour, sifted
¼ tsp nutmeg
Directions:

Mix well. Form into small balls. Press down with glass. Sprinkle sugar on top.

Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350º F.
