1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
1 tbsp light brown sugar
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 ½ tsp milk
3 tbsp all-purpose flour, plus more if needed
pinch baking powder
pinch of baking soda
pinch of fine salt
2 tablespoons roughly chopped dark chocolate
flaky sea salt, for sprinkling (optional)

1. position rack in middle of oven and preheat to 350º. Line rimmed baking sheet of any size with parchment or silpat.

2. In small bowl, combine butter, light brown sugar and granulated sugar and stir until well combined. Pour in milk then rest of ingredients and mix until soft but not sticky. Add chocolate and stir. If needed, mix in little extra flour, 1 teaspoon at a time.

3. Shape dough into ball and place on baking sheet. If you prefer a thick and chewy cookie pop pan into freezer to chill for 5 to 10 minutes. BAKE for 16 to 20 minutes. Sprinkle with flakey salt, if using, and let cool on pan. Serve warm
