5 c flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 tbs baking powder 3 tbs sugar 3/4 c shortening 1 cake yeast 2 c buttermilk
Sift all dry ingredients; cut in shortening until crumbly. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 c luke warm water. Add buttermilk and yeast to flour mixture. Stir until moistened. Store covered in refrigerator. Roll desired amount of dough 1/2 " thick on floured surface. Cut with round cutter. Bake @ 400 degrees fro 12 minutes.
