1 c sugar
½ c light Karo syrup
1 c salted peanuts
1 tsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the sugar and syrup in a large Pyrex measuring cup. (I use a 12" glass bowl, sprayed with Pam.) Microwave for 4 minutes. Stir in the peanuts and microwave for 2 minutes. Add butter and vanilla and mix well. Microwave for 2 minutes. Add baking soda and mix well. Pour on parchment paper. Spread as thin as you can. A rolling pin helps here. After 10-15 minutes, when it has cooled and hardened, break into pieces and store in an airtight container or bag.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I have used almonds and pecans but like the peanuts best.
