1½ sticks softened butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. chunky peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
2¼ c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Mix butter and sugars together. Add eggs and vanilla; beat. Add all dry ingredients and mix well. Roll into balls, place on ungreased cookie sheet, and flatten with a fork dipped in white sugar to make a crisscross design. Bake for 10 min. at 375 or until lightly brown.
