1½ cups butter ( softened)
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanila extract
5 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl cream butter and sugar until smooth.
Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Stir in flour, baking powder and salt.
Cover and chill for one hour or overnight.
Preheat oven 400º
Rollout on floured surface about ¼ inch they are fluffier if not too thin.
Bake 6-8 mins better if you take them out right before the edges are browning.
