1/2 C. Shortening
1/4 C. Sugar
1/4 C. Brown Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 1/4 C + 2 T. Flour
1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix together shortening, sugar, brown sugar, egg and vanilla.
2. Blend in flour, baking soda and salt.
3. Press and mold into a long smooth roll.
4. Wrap in wax paper and chill.
5. Cut into thin slices.
6. Bake 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes on ungreased sheet.
