- 1 Cup Softened Butter

- 1 Cup Sugar

- ⅔ Cup Brown Sugar

- 2 Large Eggs

- 1 tsp Vanilla

- 3 ¼ Cup All-Purpose Flour

- 4 Packages Hot Cocoa Mix (or ¾ Cup)

- 1 tsp Salt

- 1 tsp Backing Soda

- 2 tsp Baking Powder

- 1 Cup Chocolate Chips

- 1 Cup Marshmallow Bits

Directions:

1) Beat butter and sugars in a large bowl with a standing mixer until light and fluffy
2) Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
3) In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients and gradually beat dry ingredients into the butter mixture until combined.
4) Stir in chocolate chips and marshmallow bites.
5) Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes and up to 24 hours.
6) When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
7) Drop 2 tbs of dough, 2 inches apart onto baking sheets lined with silicone baking mats or parchment paper.
8) Bake 9-11 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
9) Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool.

This is something simple and good for your Christmas parties or just for a cold day. Some tips are to not use mini marshmallows, because they will not work. I also highly recommend you don't use sugar free hot cocoa. This recipe is a dry dough so don't freak out.
