6 cups flour. Must be sifted!
2 cups of sifted confectioners sugar
1 ¾ tablespoons baking powder
1 ½ cup Crisco Butter Flavor shortening
5 eggs
1 teaspoon pure almond extract

Fruit Preserves for jelly cookies
Hershey Kisses
Butternut, chocolate, and graham crackers mixed together for filled cookies

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º. Sift flour and then add confectionery sugar and baking powder. Cut shortening into dry ingredients until mixture resembles cornmeal. Mix in eggs, one at a time, well. Add almond extract and knead dough for about 5 minutes until it is smooth. Bake 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
