1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2¼ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1¼ cups coconut
⅓ cup pecans, chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugars and vanilla until smooth and add eggs and continue to beat until smooth. In another bowl, combine dry ingredients and gradually add to the creamed mixture. Add coconut and pecans and combine well. Bake 375° for 8-10 min, until golden brown.
