5 medium potatoes
regular flour
1 egg
plain bread crumbs
salt
margarine
sugar

Boil potatoes unpeeled until ready, but not too soft. Let cool.
Peel. Mash until completely smooth. Add 1 beaten egg and a little salt. Mix well. Add flour while mixing until you obtain a compact dough. Knead the dough on a floured wood .....and prepare a flat 1 inch deep mass. Cut long strips. The cut the strips into 1 inch long by 1/3 inch wide nudli. Boil water in a pot. Add nudli to the boiling water and boil for 15 minutes. Strain. In a pot melt half stick margarine and add bread crumbs until all fat is absorbed. Mix until golden brown. Add the nudli immediately amd mix until all nudli are covered with bread crumbs. Serve warm with sugar.
