5 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup butter
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 T vanilla and ½ tsp Almond extract
1 cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla/almond extract, then add sour cream. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together. Slowly mix in the dry ingredients. Refrigerate dough overnight before rolling out and cutting. Roll the dough out to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Place cookies 1 1/2 inches apart on parchment paper cookie sheets.

Bake cookies 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes until set but not brown.

Frosting
⅔ cups butter
4 cups powdered sugar
2 T milk
1 tsp vanilla and ½ tsp Almond extract
Mix together well and add food coloring for KIDS and GRANDKIDS to decorate.
