Gram Mare’s Cucidati Filling:

* 4 fig wheels
* 2- 8 oz pkgs figs
* 18 oz Prunes
* 20 oz Raisins
* 2 – 8 oz pkg Dates
* 8 oz cranberries
* 8 oz walnuts
* 1 jar maraschino cherries drained
1 jar honey (the bear)
1 small jar orange marmalade
8 oz mini semis sweet chocolate chips
zest of one orange

Gram K’s Pie Dough:

4 cups flour
t salt
3 T sugar
¼ t baking powder
Add 1 stick firm butter, ½ cup lard, ½ cup Crisco
Cut into pea size

In one cup combine 1 egg, 1 T Apple Cider Vinegar, fill just over 3/4 with milk/cream/cider/or water

Add wet ingredients to dough mix well, form log, refrigerate for about ½ hour.

Icing:

1 Bag confectionery sugar
mix in enough water to make a thick paste

Directions:
Directions:
First! Open bottle of prosecco, poor in glass - and drink liberally! (save cork for later)

Grind starred filling ingredients.

Add remainder of ingredients.

Mix well with hands.

Form filling into logs.

Use gram k’s pie dough recipe, roll out, wrap logs, cut using prosecco cork for size.

Bake at 375 for about 25 minutes or until bottom is golden.

Once cooled, dip in icing and put sprinkles on top.
