½ cup butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 egg
½ tsp. vanilla extract
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
¾ cups chopped macadamia nuts
¾ cups white chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350º. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter and sugars until fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and beat well. Slowly add the flour, baking soda and salt beating until just incorporated. Fold in the macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips. Drop 2 tablespoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them 2-inches apart. Bake for.10 to 13 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and the centers are slightly underdone. Let cool completely on the baking sheets on wire racks.
