Brownies:

2 cups flour
2 cups white sugar

1 cup margarine
1 cup coffee
¼ cup cocoa

½ cup buttermilk or sour milk
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla

Frosting:

½ cup margarine
2 TBSP cocoa
¼ cup milf
3½ cups icing sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, mix flour and sugar

In sauce pan, mix margarine, coffee and coacoa. Bring to boil stirring constantly

Pour over flour mixture. Add egg, milk, baking soda and vanilla, mix well.

Pour into greased 9x13 glass pan.

Bake 400º for 20min

In sauce pan add butter, cocoa and milk. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Add sugar and vanilla. Ice away!

Recipe copied verbatim from Katima cookbook. Grandma was my billeting family in Lodgepole, Alberta. I dont know her name, everyone in Lodgepole called her Grandma. Betty is her daughter.

Do not cut until completely cooled (hours/overnight)
