1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3 lbs. frying chicken pieces or boneless chicken breast
2 Tbsps. oil
1 can (16 oz.) cling peach halves or slices, in heavy syrup
1/2 cup Kikkoman teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup water

Directions:

Mix together flour and garlic powder, coat chicken pieces thoroughly with mixture. Brown chicken on all sides in the hot oil in Dutch oven or large skillet over medium heat. Drain off excess fat. Drain peaches, reserve 1/2 cup of the syrup. Combine syrup with teriyaki sauce and water, pour over chicken bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered 30 minutes. Turn chicken pieces over. Simmer, covered, 15 minutes longer until chicken is tender. Arrange peaches around the chicken, heat through. Remove chicken and peaches to serving platter, keep warm. Skim off excess fat from the pan juices and serve with chicken and peaches. Great served over rice.
