1/2 cup shortening (part butter)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
3 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp vanilla

Topping
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375º

Cream shortening and add sugar gradually - cream well

Blend in beaten eggs

Sift flour with salt, soda and baking powder and add to creamed mixture with sour cream

Blend in 1/2 tsp vanilla

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet

Sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon mixture before baking

Bake 8-10 minutes at 375º
