3 cups sugar
2 cups liquid crisco
4 eggs
1 tsp salt
6 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
2 cups buttermilk
3 tsp vanilla
7 cups flour
Directions:
Directions:
Using mixer, beat sugar, crisco, eggs and salt until light and fluffy. Into separate bowl, mix 2 tsp soda and buttermilk. Then add to above mixture. Then add vanilla. In another bowl, put 6 tsp baking powder and flour whisk together. Then add slowly to the mixture. Drop by teaspoon on floured baking sheet. Dust with sugar. Bake at 450 degrees 10 minutes until raised neatly and light in color.
