2 cups sugar
1½ cups Mazola corn oil
2 eggs
3 cups Diced apples (Macs - do not peel)
1 cup nuts
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla or almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Mix sugar and oil well
Add eggs and flavoring well beaten
Add apples and nuts, mix well
Sift flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon and add to batter
Batter is very, very thick
Drop by spoon into ungreased angel food cake pan
Bake at 350º for 1½ hours
