ALWAYS sort whites, lights, darks (you will be amazed at the difference this makes).
Wash towels separately and use hot water.
Never wash delicates and dressy clothes with trousers.
Beware of reds, navy and black. They tend to bleed much more easily than some other colours. And they can bleed after multiple washings. Hence, wash in like colours.
Do not be afraid to use enough water. Rather wash three loads than stuffing them all into one. You’ll be amazed at the difference.
Always wash your dresses and dress shirts on a delicate cycle. It truly makes a difference!
And here’s a hint from me. In the paint department at Canadian Tire, there is a product called Crud Cutter. It’s great for removing stains and the best part of it is that it does not have a strong scent to it (which is important for some people).
Enjoy laundry day! 😊
