6 green peppers

4 lb. American Cheese-rub through grater

1 teaspoon grated onion

2 Tablespoons butter

1½ cups bread crumbs

Salt, and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cut off thin slice from stem end of peppers, remove seeds and pith.

Parboil peppers 2 minutes, drain, and fill with mixture of remaining ingredients.

Cover tops with cheese.

Place in a greased baking dish.

Bake about 20 minutes.
