Ingredients:
28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
2 small cans of tomato paste
2 tomato paste cans of water
1/2 onion, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
2-3 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. oregano
Salt and Pepper
1 tbsp. Olive Oil

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in large pot. Saute the onion and green pepper. Add salt, pepper, and oregano. Add the garlic and saute. Don't burn. Add in the tomato paste and allow the skillet to heat it for a minute or two. Add water. Stir until smooth. Add in the crushed tomato. Simmer on low for 4-6 hours. Stir at least every 30 minutes to keep it from burning on the bottom. You have to watch it so it doesn't scorch. Taste it after simmering to see if it needs more salt.

This is my Grandma Norma's recipe. She used to make it every Christmas Eve for the whole family, and we have pictures of all of the grand kids and great-grand kids eating their first Christmas spaghetti dinner. We've used it to make sauce for band banquets, kids at church, and various other functions that needed a delicious homecooked meal.
