Cooking oil spray
1 lb fresh green beans
1 large onion (1 cup sliced)
4 fresh garlic cloves
1 T olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 T Balsamic vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Spray 9 x 13 pan or larger baking pan with cooking oil spray. Rinse the green beans and trim off the tough ends. Place them in pan.

Peel the onion and cut it into slices and 1/4 in wide. Separate the rings and scatter them over the beans. Peel the garlic. Slice the cloves. Scatter them over the onions. Drizzle the olive oil over the vegetables. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Bake the vegetables, uncovered, for about 30 minutes, opening the oven every 10 minutes to stir briefly. On the second stir, taste 1 bean and adjust remaining cooking time to personal preference. Remove the beans from the oven and transfer to serving bowl. Drizzle the vinegar over the bean mixture, stir well. Can be served hot or at room temperature.
