3/4 C butter, softened
3/4 C sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 C flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp kosher salt

Glaze:
2 C powdered sugar
1/2-3/4 C heavy cream
1/2 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350º

Using stand mixer on medium-high speed, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 3-4 minutes. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well incorporated, about 30 seconds.

In large bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. On low speed, slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture. Mix until all ingredients come together.

Place dough between 2 sheets of parchment paper and roll to 1/4-inch thickness. Remove the top parchment sheet and use a 2-inch fluted round cookie cutter to cut out as many cookies as possible. Transfer the cut dough to baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Bake 1-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Glaze:
In medium bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, 1/2 cup cream, and vanilla. Mix in the remaining cream 1 tablespoon at a time, until the glaze is the consistency of glue. Glaze each cookie. Let stand until the glaze hardens, about 1 hour.
