Granny's Rhubarb Pie Recipe

4 1/2 Cups Rhubarb
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
2-2 1/2 tbsp tapioca

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 º.
Mix ingredients together and let sit for 15 minutes.
Put in pie shell and add top crust.
Using pastry brush, put egg wash on top and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake about "45 minutes or so" per granny

FOR RHUBARB PIE WITH MERANGUE TOPPING

Mix as above and bake WITHOUT the top crust.
Make merangue and cover pie.
Bake for additional 20 minutes at 350º

For strawberry/rhubarb use 1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries and 3 1/2 cups rhubarb.
