1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
6 tbsp. white sugar
2 egg
4 tsp. vanilla
3½ c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. instant espresso powder (dissolve in a tiny bit of water)
2 c. chocolate chips

cream butter and sugars, add eggs, espresso and vanilla. add dry ingredients. flatten cookies. bake at 350ºf. for 15 minutes.
